MELBOURNE - Feb 17/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Wednesday WARNINGS: Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters south of Montague Island for today. STATE FORECAST High fire danger inland. Scattered showers and isolated afternoon thunderstorms in the west and northern half of the state. Fine over the remainder apart from a shower or two developing on the central coast during Wednesday. Mild to warm along the coast. Very warm inland with increasing humidity. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, fresh on the south coast this afternoon.
