Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 15/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

WARNINGS:
Severe Thunderstorm Advice issued for the Lower West, Central Wheatbelt and
Goldfields for today.
Strong wind warning for coastal waters from Cape Leeuwin to Eucla.

STATE FORECAST
Kimberley: Isolated showers and thunderstorms tending scattered in the north and
east with some heavy falls. 
SW Land Division, Goldfields and Eucla: Isolated showers and thunderstorms, with
areas of rain expected over southern parts. Hail, strong winds and locally heavy
rainfall possible with thunderstorms. Clearing from northern parts of the
Southwest Land Division during tomorrow.
Eastern Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne and Interior: Isolated showers and
thunderstorms.

PERTH AND METROPOLITAN:
Severe Thunderstorm Advice issued.
Cloudy with a thunderstorm or two, clearing later tomorrow. Light to moderate E
to SE winds, afternoon sea breeze. Hail and heavy rain possible in
thunderstorms.
