Canada's Weekly Exports Total 231,200 MT total
WINNIPEG - Feb 14/03 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 6,718,700 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year down 5,232,000 MT from the 11,950,700 moved last year.
The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending February 9.
Grower deliveries during the week included 196,300 MT wheat; 78,000 MT durum; 35,400 MT oats; 33,500 MT barley; 2,300 MT flax; 68,300 MT canola; 1,300 MT peas; and 0 MT corn.
The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 231,200 MT total. On the grain side this included including 88,800 MT wheat; 40,100 MT durum; 16,800 MT oats; 19,200 MT barley; 800 MT flax; and 200 MT corn.
