MELBOURNE - Jan 20/09 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For tonight and Thursday.
WARNING SUMMARY:
A Gale Warning is current for the South Central Coast south of Kangaroo Island
and the South East Coast south of Cape Jaffa. A Strong Wind Warning is current
for the remainder of the South Central and South East Coasts.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Isolated showers and thunderstorms northeast of Ernabella to Yunta, contracting
to the far northeast of the state during Thursday. Isolated showers south of
Port Lincoln to Aldinga to Keith on Thursday, clearing in the late afternoon or
evening. Warm about southern coasts grading to hot to very hot elsewhere, with
light to moderate southerly winds tending northerly in the northeast. Winds
turning fresh northwest in the south overnight, strong about the coasts, ahead
