MELBOURNE - Jan 14/09 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For Thursday. WARNING SUMMARY: A Strong Wind Warning has been issued for the West Coast and Gulf Waters, and the South East coast south of Cape Northumberland. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Isolated light showers over the northern agricultural area and southern Pastoral district, and also near the Lower South East Coast. Possible early thunder over the Riverland and south of the Northeast Pastoral district. Fine over the remainder. A mild day near southern and western coasts, grading to very hot in the far northeast. Moderate northeast winds in the far northeast, but moderate to fresh southwest to southerly winds elsewhere, with fresh to strong afternoon
