Australia -- New South Wales Weather UpdateMELBOURNE - Feb 14/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology. For Saturday WARNINGS: Strong wind warning for coastal water south of Port Hacking to Montague Island. STATE FORECAST Very High fire danger west of the ranges. Mainly fine over the eastern half, although some isolated showers and thunderstorms chiefly in the northeast and southeast and the northeastern inland. Dry in the west. Hot to very hot inland. Very warm to hot and humid on the coast. Light winds inland. Southeast to northeast winds along the coast, fresh and gusty in the afternoon in the south. HEADLINE: Mainly fine over the eastern half, although some isolated showers and thunderstorms chiefly in the northeast and southeast and the northeastern inland. Dry in the west.
