USDA National Grain ReviewST. JOSEPH - Feb 14/03 - SNS -- The USDA issued its latest weekly national grain market review, covering the period through Feb 14.
WEEKLY NATIONAL GRAIN MARKET REVIEW
Wheat bids weakened late in the week as export demand slowed and
weekly total was disappointing. Winter wheat growing areas forecasts
call for much needed moisture over the next several days, also causing
bids to suffer. Corn and soybean bids regained momentum after Thursday’s
lower trading. Good export sales were noted for corn’s strength but
soybean’s push upward due to fund and commercial buying on the Boards.
Wheat 3 to 17 cents lower. Corn 1 to 2 cents higher. Sorghum 8 cents
lower in Kansas City and 1 to 6 cents higher in Texas. Soybeans 7 to
11 cents higher.
