For Wednesday WARNINGS: A Total Fire Ban for the Southwest Slopes until midnight. STATE FORECAST Very High fire danger inland and on the southern ranges. Isolated showers on the north coast. The chance of isolated afternoons thunderstorms on the coast and ranges, extending to the northern inland Thursday afternoon. Cloudy increasing with some light patchy rain developing in the southwest of the state this afternoon, extending through southern and into central districts during Thursday. Hot inland, warm to very warm in the east. Light winds inland and freshening southeast to northeast winds on the coast during the afternoons. This forecast is issued daily at 05.15, 1120 and 16.30.
