Softer Finish For Lentils
VANCOUVER - Dec 19/08 - SNS -- International lentil markets finished the week's trading on a softer note with the few sellers remaining in markets outnumbering prospective buyers by a wide margin.
Green lentil importers in South America are expected to become more active in January, seeking product for arrival through May.
Buyers in Columbia and Ecuador are already showing more interest in buying product, with importers in Chile, Brazil and Argentina expected to follow suit in the new year.
