USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 140 MT
KANSAS CITY - Dec 17/08 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 39,710 MT, compared to 14,310 MT last year.
Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases up 26,370 MT from last year's 13,200 MT level.
