STATE FORECAST Very High fire danger west of the ranges. Isolated afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms on the ranges and northern slopes. Isolated showers along the coast and adjacent ranges. Very warm to hot inland, warm in the east. Light to moderate southerly winds in the west, tending moderate southeast to northeast in the east, fresh at times on the coast.
