French Pea Exports Slow in NovemberPARIS - Feb 7/03 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France slowed in November, totalling just 40,440 metric tons (MT), less than half shipments recorded in October, but similar to the volume shipped one year earlier in November of 2001. This reflects the fact the crop is harvested earlier than in Canada or the United States, creating a window for exporters to maximize sales before facing competition from North American harvests.
