Few Changes in Edible BeansVANCOUVER - Oct 31/08 -SNS -- International dry edible bean markets were little changed in limited trading activity during the past week. The U.S. grower index finished the week rose 4 points to 1136, versus 1002 at this time last year. The grower share of the weighted average dealer price for beans now stands at 76.6%, up 1.4 points from last week and compared to 78.1% at this time last year. The U.S. spot market index for dry edible bean finished the week at 1327, down 20 points from the previous week and compared to 1142 at this time last year.
