Birdseeds Unchanged to WeakerVANCOUVER - Oct 31/08 -SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets in North American were unchanged to weaker in limited trading interest during the past week. Oil-type sunflower seed markets in the United States were the weakest member of the complex, with values dropping despite firmer soybean and canola markets. In its final crop report of the year, Saskatchewan Agriculture and Food said the mustard crop is expected to grade 83% No. 1 Canada versus the 10-year average of 73%. With 24% of the sunflowers combined, 100% of that crop is expected to grade No. 1 Canada, compared to 64% for the 10-year average. Subscribers can read the full text of the article by Clicking here
