Few Changes in LentilsVANCOUVER - Oct 31/08 -SNS -- North American lentil markets were little changed on the week, as offers from growers remained slightly behind the short term needs of the markets. This is helping sustain prices at the upper end of their historic range, even though importers have been encouraged by hold back from buying on account of recent price declines. In its final crop report of the year, Saskatchewan Agriculture and Food said the lentil crop is expected to grade 84% in the top two grades, compared to the 10-year average of 74%.
