Field Pea Prices Deteriorate
VANCOUVER - Oct 24/08 - SNS -- The world's field pea markets continued to deteriorate during the past week, with lower prices recorded in Europe and North America for both human consumption and feed peas.
Steep declines in values of competing commodities have lowered the price at which peas are seen as a good value by most users.
At the same time, the downtrend in values has left importers anxious that they will pay too much on any purchases made today.
