Weak Tone in lentils
VANCOUVER - Oct 24/08 - SNS -- International lentil markets maintained their weak tone during the past week as the number of potential sellers in the market continues to exceed actual buyers.
Brokers report an unusual situation where sellers are generally maintaining high asking prices and deriding lower price ideas, but responding positively to bids when they emerge.
However, this has seen significant price declines over the past couple of weeks, making end users less willing to step into the market.
