MELBOURNE - Oct 24/08 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Fire Weather Warning for the Shire of East Pilbara, Shire of Ashburton [Inland]
and the Shire of Halls Creek for Saturday.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters Jurien Bay to SA Border.
Forecast for Friday    evening
West and South Gascoyne, Goldfields and far western Eucla: A period of scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms extending from the west.
SW Land Division: Scattered showers. Isolated thunderstorms.
Forecast for Saturday
SW Land Division: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in the lower SW
and in the south. Isolated showers in other parts. Showers easing early in the
morning and contracting to south coastal parts by the afternoon.
Southern Goldfields: Isolated early morning showers.
Eucla and adjacent Interior: Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Far NW Kimberley: Isolated afternoon thunderstorms.
