India Tenders for 16,000 MT PulsesVANCOUVER - Oct 23/08 - SNS -- The State Trading Corporation of India will tender November 3 to buy 16,000 metric tons (MT) of pules for shipment in November and December. The tender is seeking offers of 2,000 MT of Australian or Canadian red lentils; 2,000 MT of Australian dun peas; 2,000 MT of Australian desi chickpeas; 2,000 MT of African desi chickpeas; 2,000 MT of lemon tur from Myanmar; 2,000 MT of tur arusha from Tanzania; 2,000 MT of urad (FAQ) whole from Myanmar; and 2,000 MT of green moong whole (Pedishewa) from Myanmar. The lentils and chickpeas can be offered in bulk of bagged in containers; while the other pulses must be bagged.
