Fundamentals Great, But Market ShakyVANCOUVER - Oct 22/08 - SNS -- Market fundamentals seem to be on the side of dry edible bean markets. Tight opening season stocks across the Americas combined with crops that smaller than anticipated demand to give markets are bullish flavor through the summer and into the fall shipping period. However, the worldwide credit crisis and better than hoped for crops in some key competing regions are unravelled some of this year's price gains. The market's problems began much earlier in the year. The farmers strike in Argentina and droughts in the middle east helped tighten the supply side of the equation, leaving consumers short of supplies and scrambling for available stocks in the United States and elsewhere.
