Rising Supply Pressures BeansVANCOUVER - Oct 17/08 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on an easier note against improved availability of new crop product from China. The U.S. grower index finished the week sank 54 points to 1235, versus 1015 at this time last year. The grower share of the weighted average dealer price for beans now stands at 78.7%, up 2.0 points from last week and compared to 80.6% at this time last year. The U.S. spot market index for dry edible bean finished the week at 1403, down 25 points from the previous week and compared to 1127 at this time last year.
