Mexico's market has transitioned into a mainly planting seed market as processors get ready to seed next year's crop. This is short term leaving markets to suppliers in Canada and the United States. However, growers continue to show reluctance to sell at current levels, with their thinking influenced by steep reductions in seeded area in both countries.
