Uneasy Finish For Field PeasVANCOUVER - Oct 10/08 - SNS -- The world's field pea markets ended the week's trading on a mixed note, with North American markets supported by limited grower selling and European markets suffering from general declines in world feed ingredient values. Growers in both Canada and the United States have started the marketing year with excellent returns on initial sales, making it easier for them to wait and see how markets deal with unsettled outside influences. U.S. growers are also benefitted from ongoing buying from the U.S. government to cover food aid commitments.
