Unsettled Mood in BeansVANCOUVER - Oct 10/08 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on an unsettled note, against widespread uncertainty on international financial and commodity markets. The U.S. grower index finished the week rose 43 points to 1289, versus 1011 at this time last year. The grower share of the weighted average dealer price for beans now stands at 80.7%, up 2.3 points from last week and unchanged from this time last year. The U.S. spot market index for dry edible bean finished the week at 1428, up 7 points from the previous week and compared to 1120 at this time last year.
