Current Weather Situation and Future Developments A high pressure system will move eastwards across Victoria today, reaching the Tasman Sea tonight. A weakening cold front will move through Tasmania on Friday. A stronger cold front will reach western Victoria on Sunday. Victoria Thursday: Fine and mostly sunny. Mild, with light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes. Friday: Fine apart from morning fog patches, mainly on and south of the ranges. Early inland frost in the northeast. Becoming a generally warm and mostly sunny day with light winds - milder near the coast with afternoon seabreezes. Saturday: Brief early morning showers on the exposed southern coasts. Morning fog patches and the chance of an afternoon shower in the northeast. A warm to hot day, milder near the coast with afternoon seabreezes.
