Current Weather Situation and Future Developments: On Thursday a low pressure trough will develop over northeastern New South Wales. The trough will deepen during Friday as an upper low moves through bringing showers and thunderstorms to the northeastern parts of the state. During Saturday and Sunday showers should contract further northeast as the trough weakens and another ridge develops. Forecast for Thursday Isolated showers on the north coast and adjacent ranges. Fine elsewhere. Local early frosts about the southern slopes and ranges. Northeast to southeast winds. Forecast for Friday Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the northeast tending scattered on the northern slopes and ranges. Fine elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds.
