Australia -- New South Wales Weather UpdateMELBOURNE - Feb 3/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology. For Tuesday WARNINGS: Strong Wind Warning for NSW coastal waters north of Seal Rocks. STATE FORECAST Very High fire west of the ranges. Scattered showers on the north coast tending to rain in the far north with some moderate to heavy falls. Showers becoming isolated and extending inland, mainly along the Queensland border. Cloudy periods with isolated showers or drizzle along the remainder of the coast and adjacent ranges north Illawarra northwards, mainly early morning and evening. Dry and mostly sunny remainder. Areas of bushfire smoke in the southeast. Areas of raised dust in the west at times. Mild to warm in the east, very warm to hot inland. Moderate to fresh southeast to northeast winds, strong on the north coast. HEADLINE: Isolated showers in the northeast tending to rain with some local heavy falls on the far north coast, and tending isolated, chiefly morning and evening along central coastal parts. Outlook for Wednesday Isolated showers over the northeast, extending to the east of the Upper Western in the far north, and to the central coast during the morning. Showers becoming scattered over the Northern Rivers. Dry elsewhere. Very warm to hot inland. Mild to warm on the coast.
