Currencies Buffet LentilsVANCOUVER - Oct 3/08 - SNS -- Dramatic currency fluctuations during the past week left North American lentil markets finishing on a slightly easier note. Despite the decline, Canadian red and green lentils continue to trade at higher levels than ever seen before the 2007-08 marketing year. This is true of both inter-dealer and western Canadian grower markets. Weakness during the past week was mainly attributed to a drop in the value of the Canadian dollar.
