Australia -- New South Wales Weather UpdateMELBOURNE - Feb 2/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology. For Monday WARNINGS: Gale Warning for offshore coastal waters north of Wooli. Strong Wind Warning for the remainder of coastal waters north of Seal Rocks. STATE FORECAST Very High fire danger inland. Scattered showers on the north coast increasing to rain in the far north with moderate to heavy falls developing during the day. Isolated showers or drizzle along the remainder of the coast and adjacent ranges north from the Illawarra, mainly early morning and evening. Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms in the northwest border area. Dry and mostly sunny elsewhere. Areas of bushfire smoke in the southeast. Mild to warm in the east, very warm to hot inland.
