Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 1/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For Sunday   
WARNINGS:
Total Fire Ban and Fire Weather Warning for Very High to Extreme fire danger for
the Lower Western district until midnight tonight. Very High fire danger
remainder of inland districts. 
Gale Warning for coastal waters offshore north of Wooli. 
Strong Wind Warning for the remainder of coastal waters north of Seal Rocks. 

STATE FORECAST
Cloudy with scattered showers on the north coast. Cloudy with isolated showers
or drizzle on the northern ranges and slopes, central coast and adjacent ranges
and developing on the south coast in the evening. Isolated showers and
thunderstorms over the central northern inland, contracting to the far
northwest. Dry and mostly sunny elsewhere. Areas of bushfire smoke in the
southeast. Mild in the east, very warm inland. 
Moderate to fresh east to southeast winds, strong on the north coast.   
HEADLINE:
Isolated showers in the east, tending scattered on the north coast. Isolated
showers/storms in the northwest.
Outlook for Monday   
Isolated showers on the coast, ranges and northeast inland, tending scattered on
the north coast. 
Dry elsewhere. Very warm to hot inland. Mild to warm on the coast. Southeast to
