Canada's Field Pea Export Pace QuickensVANCOUVER - Oct 1/08 - SNS -- The pace of bulk conventional field pea exports from Canada improved in September, bringing total shipments for the first two months of the 2008-09 marketing year more closely in line with last year, according to Canadian Ports Clearance Association data. Clearances at terminals reporting to the association totalled 341,419 metric tons (MT) of field peas at Vancouver; 9,235 MT at Thunder Bay, and 2,005 MT of soybeans at Thunder Bay in September.
