Little Chickpea Harvest Selling PressureVANCOUVER - Sep 26/08 - SNS -- International chickpea markets were little changed in light trade during the past week. Stocks in Mexico remain relatively tight, while harvest selling pressure from Canadian and U.S. shippers is not destabilizing markets. Canada's harvest should be around the mid-point for all classes of chickpeas. The week started with 35% in the bin in Saskatchewan, well behind the previous five-year average of 64.4% harvested by the third week of September.
