DES MOINES - Sep 24/08 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the U.S. upper midwest.

Upper Midwest Organic Grain & Feedstuffs Report (Bi-Weekly)
Weighted Average Report for the Week Ending      09/20/08

Compared to two weeks ago, organic grain and feedstuff prices were mostly
steady on moderate demand and offerings.  Still much talking and inquiring
going on but no one really wanting to sell much yet.  Soybean harvest has
gotten off to a slow start.  No yield reports as of yet.  New crop feed
corn sales from $10.25 to $11.00 per bushel.  New crop feed soybean sales
reported from $24.00 to $25.00 per bushel.  New crop food grade soybean
sales from $26.00 to $27.50 per bushel.  Monthly and second quarter
average prices located below.  All prices FOB the farm and negotiated
spot market.
