Red Meat Inventory RisesWASHINGTON - Sep 22 - SNS -- Total red meat supplies in freezers rose 4 million pounds in June to 943.7 million pounds, up 2% from the previous year, notes the USDA in its latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Frozen pork supplies fell 9 million pounds during the month to 482.8 million pounds, up almost 24 million pounds from the previous year. Stocks of pork bellies were down 45% from last month at 31.8 million pounds and up 49% from last year. Supplies of beef were down 47 million pounds from year earlier levels at 434 million pounds, up around 10 million pounds from the previous month.
