Yellow Pea Markets Ease FurtherVANCOUVER - Sep 19/08 - SNS -- Yellow pea markets continued to deteriorate during the past week, with trading levels in both Canada and the United States posting significant week over week declines. Markets have completed the transition into a new crop pricing basis, with markets concerned about sales prospects for whole yellow peas to India. A substantial quantity will ship to that country before December, but virtually all demand is from state trading companies, who have so far bought less product than was shipped in the August to December period last year.
