Dairy Product Markets Mainly Down
WASHINGTON - Sep 19/08 - SNS -- Dairy product markets in the United States were generally down across the seven days closing September 13, shows the current USDA update.
Cheddar Cheese prices received for US 40 pound Blocks averaged $1.72 per pound. The price per pound dropped 1.8 cents from the previous week. The price for US 500 pound Barrels adjusted to 38% moisture averaged $1.71 per pound, up 1.9 cents versus the previous week.
