Harvest Selling Pressure in LentilsVANCOUVER - Sep 12/08 - SNS -- Harvest selling pressure continued to exert itself in Canada during the past week, driving grower bids lower for all major classes of lentils grown in the country. Canada's harvest is nearing its final stages, helped by a week of relatively good weather, with the red and small green lentils harvest in the final stages, while the large green lentil harvest was around 70% complete by week's end. Quality is mixed in Canada, with processors indicating it will be an FAQ No 2 grade crop, with some fields suffering bleaching and weathering, while others show damage from disease.
