Domestic shipment: Offers, fob mills, milled rice, spot prices, dollars
per cwt, bagged. (All milled rice grade No 2 not to exceed 4 percent brokens,
except California grade No 1. All second heads grade No 4 or better, second
head and brewers are bulk.)

Domestic Situation
Domestic milled rice price quotes were steady to lower in south and steady in
California this week. By-products were uneven in the south and steady in
California.
In the south, long grain rice price quotes were steady to 3.00 lower, quoted
mostly at 36.50-40.00; medium grain prices were steady to 2.00 higher in very
tight supply, quoted mostly at 44.00-46.50; parboiled quotes were steady to 3.00
lower, quoted mostly at 39.50-44.00; second heads were steady, quoted mostly at
28.00-29.00; brewers were steady, quoted mostly at 25.00-26.00. Rice by-
products: Offers for rice bran were uneven; millfeed was steady to 5.00 higher;
hulls were steady to 5.00 higher.
In California, medium grain milled rice prices were steady, quoted mostly at
46.50-47.50; short grain prices were steady; second heads were steady, quoted
mostly at 35.00-37.00; brewers were steady, quoted mostly at 26.00-28.00. Rice
bran was steady, quoted mostly at 165.00; rice hulls were steady.
