Trading Interest Supports Edible BeansVANCOUVER - Sep 6/08 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week mostly unchanged to firmer in relatively good international trading interest. The U.S. grower index finished the week unchanged at 1291, versus 924 at this time last year. The grower share of the weighted average dealer price for beans now stands at 79%, unchanged from last week and down 0.9 points from this time last year. The U.S. spot market index for dry edible bean finished the week at 1461, unchanged from the previous week and compared to 1038 at this time last year.
