Softer Undertone in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Sep 5/08 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets finished a holiday shortened trading week with a softer undertone.
White proso millet ended the week unchanged in both dealer and grower markets.
Oil-type sunflower markets were easier on the week, especially for deferred delivery, while confectionary sunflower was unchanged, with new crop bids maintaining a wide premium to spot because of a tighter overall supply situation for the coming season.
