United States Popcorn Dealer Price Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 3/08 - STAT -- U.S. Popcorn markets finished the 2007-08 marketing year with prices rocketing 28% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Popcorn was USD$23.50 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $18.38 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags in the U.S. midwest.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $31.50 per cwt in August, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $20.00 per cwt in November.
