DES MOINES - Aug 27/08 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the U.S. upper midwest.

Upper Midwest Organic Grain & Feedstuffs Report (Bi-Weekly)
Weighted Average Report for the Week Ending      08/23/08

Compared to two weeks ago, organic grain and feedstuff prices were steady
to weaker on moderate demand and offerings.  Seeing more interest in new
crop corn and soybeans.  New crop feed grade corn is bid and has traded
from $10.00 to $10.75 per bushel.  New crop food grade corn is bid and
has traded from $10.50 to $11.25 per bushel.  New crop food grade
soybeans are bid and have traded from $25.00 to $27.00 per bushel.
Organic flax screenings traded during this period from $350 to $650 per
ton.  Monthly and second quarter average prices located below.  All
prices FOB the farm and negotiated spot market.
