Season Finishes With Record Crush
OTTAWA - Aug 26/08 - SNS -- Canada's canola crush exceeded four million metric tons (MT) for the first time during the past marketing year, with Statistics Canada pegging crush for the entire 12-month period at just under 4.147 million MT.
During July, oilseed processors crushed 338,459 MT of canola in July. Oil production totalled 144,321 MT in July and meal production amounted to 203,467 MT.
