Birdseed Ingredients Ease
VANCOUVER - Aug 22/08 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets were generally easier during the past week, on improved availability of new crop merchandise in the United States.
White proso millet ended the week lower in both dealer and grower markets.
By contrast, oil-type sunflower markets followed oilseed values higher during the week. Confectionary sunflower was unchanged on the week, with new crop bids maintaining a wide premium to spot because of a tighter overall supply situation for the coming season.
