India Tenders for 200,000 MT PeasNEW DELHI - Aug 19/08 - SNS -- The National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation Of India Ltd. is tendering to buy 200,000 metric tons (MT) of Canadian whole yellow peas packed in bulk. Offers on the tender are due September 1. The tender calls for the peas to be shipped in four 50,000 MT lots, one each in September, October, November and first half December. Prices are to be quoted in USD per metric ton net delivered weight and quality basis C+F FO Indian port/berth at West Coast (Mumbai, Kandla)/ East Coast ( Tuticorin, Chennai, Vizag, Kolkatta) separately. Peas offered are to be No 2 or better 2008 crop peas of fair color, max 2% other colors, max 0.5% foreign matter, max 8% split, max 5% damaged, and max 14% moisture.
