Weekly Canadian Crush Little Changed
WINNIPEG - Aug 15/08 -- STAT -- The Canadian Oilseed Processors Association (COPA) reports weekly crush in that country totalled 68,383 metric tons (MT) of canola and 27,511 of soybeans during the week ending August 13.
Crush finished the 2008-09 marketing year at 138,015 MT for canola, down about 23,000 MT from the 161,367 MT crushed in 2007-08. Soybeans crush ended up at 51,766 MT, down about 14,000 MT from the 65,526 MT crushed the previous season.
