Green Pea Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 7/08 - STAT -- Canadian Green Pea markets finished the 2007-08 marketing year with prices rocketing 57% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Green Pea was USD$444.33 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual market value of $283.59 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bulk on a delivered track Vancouver basis.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $523.00 per MT in March, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $295.00 per MT in August.
