No 1 B-90 Type Chickpea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 6/08 - STAT -- Canadian No 1 B-90 Type Chickpea markets finished the 2007-08 marketing year with prices offered to growers easing 2% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 1 B-90 Type Chickpea was CDN$508.77 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $518.73 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $562.20 per MT in July, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $456.36 per MT in August.
