Dead Slow Finish For Bulk Pea ExportsVANCOUVER - Aug 1/08 - SNS -- The 2007-08 marketing year posted a dead slow finish, with only one vessel loaded for export at terminals reporting to the Canadian Ports Clearance Association during the final two months of the season. Clearances at terminals reporting to the association totalled 1,475,403 metric tons (MT) between August and July. This compares to 1,394,356 MT last season and is well behind the previous record 1,774,602 MT shipped during the 2005-06 marketing campaign.
