Eastern U.S. Organic Grain and Feedstuffs

SPRINGFIELD - Jul 30/08 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the eastern cornbelt in the United States.

Eastern Cornbelt Organic Grain & Feedstuffs Report (Bi-Weekly)
Weighted Average Report for Week Ending 7/26/2008

Compared to two weeks ago, organic grain and feedstuff prices were
steady to firm. Trading activity and offerings were moderate. Feed grade
corn and soybeans prices were steady to higher. Wheat trends were not
established. While heavy rainfall and flooding drove feed prices higher
earlier in the growing season. Good growing weather and improvements in
crop conditions have relieved some producers worries about this year's crop.
Wheat harvest is near completion with end users waiting on test results
to determine quality and moisture levels. This week purchases of food grade
soft red wheat ranged from 14.00 to 15.00 per bushel.
Monthly and 2nd quarter averages of organic prices located below.
All prices FOB the farm and negotiated spot market.
